For their centennial celebration, Gucci selected 29 artists from around the world and asked them to imagine what the next 100 years of Gucci would look like.
The artists were commissioned to create a series of artworks to reflect upon the House’s century of heritage and to envision what comes next.
I was happy to be among the selected artists. I ended up creating three artworks inspired by shiny retrofuturism, nostalgic lava lamps of the 90s, and the digitalization of fashion.
